Monetizing a proxy well is essential to making a good profit making proxy. I havent yet made blog post on how to monetize your proxy well yet, however I will do soon. This post is explaining the pros and cons of Adversal, one of the leading proxy advertising sites.

Firstly a little about it. Adversal is a pop under and an inPage Pop up advertiser. Pop unders are essentially pop ups, but they dont appear above the currently open window, hence under. InPage Pop Ups are adverts that appear infront of the page. Both of these types of adverts are perfect for proxy owners. Often proxy users will not click on ads, so when ads are forced onto them you still get money and after all thats why we set out into the proxy business.

So whats special about Adversal? Well firstly many pop up and under sites dont allow proxies, Adversal does. They also have a high payout rate, the highest I’ve seen from pop up advertisers, up to $1.40 per 1000 page views, which from their calculations comes out around $7 per 1000 uniques, but in reality it is around $4/5.  You can have as many proxies as you like with them and there is a low payout rate of just $20, which you should easily reach within one or two months (they payout on the 15th of each month). Finally they also have a great 10% refferal scheme, so good to make a little extra cash. They pay differently for different locations of traffic, so it is best to have mainly US or UK traffic, here are their rates.

You may think that pop up adverts are annoying, which they are, but for proxies they are invaluable. You can see the demo adverts on their site. They do have a little requirement, which is that you have over 2500 page views per month between your sites and also 50% or more of your traffic is from North America, which is easy for a good proxy.

So thats all I really have to say. Other than a long sign up time (due to the fact that they review your account) its worth a shot!
