Proxy.org Email Blast – A Waste of Money!

13th May - Submitted by Josh

As you may or may not know I set up three new proxies. So as they were so fresh, I thought it may be worth doing some good paid advertising, and where better to go, other than proxy.org? So having a look at their advertising options the email blast seemed appropriate. Ninety thousand, yes, 90,000 people for $5! It sounded great!

Well it was in a way, lots of traffic, nearly 3000 hits in one day – great huh? No. Not all traffic is good traffic in the proxy bussiness. Yes, US, UK and Canadian traffic is good, but is Iranian? Personally, I dont think so, and I think nearly all proxymasters out there would agree with me. Heres a screenshot of my traffic, swiftly followed by one of where my traffic has come from.

Yamoo DailyYamoo Iran

Pretty poor show eh? I certainly wont be using this service again and I strongly suggest that you dont waste your time or money on it as well.

    Thanx for the information.

I have got to know that they have some bots which clicks google ads, and has resulted in a ban to adsense accounts of many people. Better don’t use it again.
