Robots.txt – Very important in your proxy.

Having a good robots.txt file is very important for not only yourself, but also for the sites that your users surf. To explain why first I will explain what it is.

Robots.txt – a file used to exclude some or all robots from crawling some or all the files or directories on a website. This file should be placed in your website’s root directory.

RandomProxy.co.uk Updated Site

Here randomproxy.co.uk we have done a few upgrades to our site and are continuing to do updates over the next week or so.  One of the main updates is the Proxy Directory. We have now catagorised all of the proxies into sections so it is easier for users to find a proxy that suits them.  We have classified them into scripts and countries; for example PHProxies and US Proxies.

Choosing A Good Proxy Domain

Choosing a good domain for your proxy is essential. So in this post I am going to tell you how to get a good one!

You want to have a very memorable domain. Preferably be a maximum of 5 or 6 characters long and be pronounceable. However as these sort of domains are becoming rarer and rarer daily so you could go for a short but sweet domain. These are usually 3 characters long and have both numbers and letters in them. People will better remember these sort of domains and will increase your returning traffic which is very valuable.
